How do I set up channels on my smart TV?

Your TV needs to scan for channels before it can show any programme from an antenna, from a cable or satellite box connected to a TV. There is no need to scan for channels if you have a cable or satellite box connected using HDMI cables. In those cases, the box selects the channel, not the tuner.

How do I rescan a smart TV?

Scanning for channels all you have to do is set that process through a few simple steps.

1. Make sure your "TV" is connected to Antenna.
2. Press the menu button on your Remote.
3. Find and select the "Channel scan" option in your TV's menu.
4. Once your TV starts scanning it takes 10 minutes to scan.
5. When scanning is complete TV will display how many channels are available.

 If you are having trouble finding the “Channel scan” option on your TV, take the help of the TV manual. 

You need to scan for channels every time when there is a change in the local broadcast frequencies.

You have to rescan whenever you buy a new TV or when your local broadcast frequency changes.
